My name is Assem.
Back in 2011, I opened a restaurant in central Zürich called Simply Soup. Since then it has grown into a restaurant chain, delivery and catering service and is a well known brand in the city of Zürich.
Navigating the gastro world in Switzerland and building a successful business was a huge challenge, a journey of ups and downs, a lot of failures and many lessons learned.
Although I learned a lot from my mistakes, they cost me thousands of francs and, worse, even more time. I know that if I had a mentor to guide me through some of the challenges I was facing back then, it would have saved me a lot of trouble.
